The Kona area has an abundance of coffee markets and it’s a challenge to decide which one to choose. All the 100% Kona Coffees come with a pretty hefty price. Ferrari is very competitive especially if you buy 3 or 5 pounds. They have a shop in a very nice market area with a number of other unique shops. The friendly staff made the experience a good one. I think you will enjoy it as well. …

Used to visit their store in the hills above Captain Cook, and their mobile truck in Kona, but both are long gone. You can still find Ferrari Coffee at various locations around town, or it's also available online for under $30 a pound. Good 100% Kona coffee.

I was drinking coffee bought from Ferrari for a few weeks until I found a dead frog in the bag! I was retching when I saw it and realized that I drank numerous cups of tainted coffee until that gruesome discovery. I reached out to the company, provided photos and the barcode so at least they could identify the batch but received a callous reply that they weren't admitting to anything but they would refund me for the bag. I told them that it was a sealed bag bought from them so how was this not their fault, and in any case a refund was an insult for something that may have made me very sick amd makes want to vomit whenever I think about it. They stopped replying so I feel that I must warn others of the health risks and dismal customer service that I encountered.…

That's the bad news. The good news is that I found them at the Ali'i Gardens Marketplace, an outdoor flea market. They told us that they had moved to the Marketplace to have a more permanent, and better venue for selling their coffee. The old van had rotted away and they had to have it taken out of the Huggo's parking area. Even better, they had 100% Kona coffee for $19.95/lb and for every 3 pounds you buy, you get a free ½ pound of coffee, either ground or bean. I bought 6 pounds, so I got 7 pounds for the price of 6, an outstanding deal, making it even cheaper than it was the first time I bought from them around 15 years ago or so. We also got a free calendar and 2 things of lip gloss, which was nice. We'll be back next year for more of the same.…

We have been Ferrari customers for ten years. We have never had a problem. My husband will only drink Kona coffee. That would be 8-10 cups 365 days a year. A pleasure doing business with them.
