Big Island Ghost Tours® offers guided tours to some of Hawaii's most supernatural sites for visitors to experience and learn about the ancient Hawaiian connection to the supernatural and the afterlife. From places where human sacrifice was performed for ancient gods/goddesses to the more modern sites, including resorts and museums built atop ancient burial grounds, many of the places we visit on our tours are history by day and haunted by night! Our ghost tours are fun for the entire family and offered year round, Mon, Wed, Fri & Saturday from 5-9 PM. Our most popluar walking tour is the Kona Haunted Hele, followed by our Hilo After Dark ghost tour. The daytime Kona History Walk gives you the chance to hear about Kona's royal history, without a paranormal twist. The world's only Hawaii Island Vortex Tour, based on the book Hawaii Vortex Field Guide, encourages you to experience the Big Island's vortexes on an all-inclusive two-day adventure, led by HVFG author Zach Royer.

The only good experience was the history we learned of the royal hawaiian family, the warriors and sacrifices as told by our tour guide. Frankly, the tour should have been canceled by the Big Island Ghost Tours since the Ironman festivities were going on which...More

Hi Nancy, We totally understand that because you booked near Ironman there were a lot more people than normal in town, however, we didn't feel the need to cancel based on that reason alone. We usually take guests on a slightly different path when there...More

This tour was pretty cool. My husband is a believer and I am a skeptic/non-believer, but we had done many "haunted walks" and "ghost tours" in other cities so we booked this one as well. It was pretty different than most haunted tours we had...More

We did the Haunted Kona tour. We interesting. Found out lots of history. Using the rods, it appears that my guardian angel was there and that the angel was my Dad who passed 3 years ago.

The meeting place for the tour was a little off-putting as it was not well lighted . . . but once we connected with our guide we enjoyed the tour. We learned a bit about local Hawaiian history as well as had the opportunity to...More

I thought it was a little overrated. The little bit of the history was intersting interesting but the ghost aspect was a dud.

I along with another 3 companions took the vortex tour with Zack at Big Island. It was a great tour and we visited many highly magnetic, energetic, sacred sites which kept us intrigued and would be one of the most memorable experience that we had....More

Loved learning about the King and Queens of Hawaii. Zach has done his homework. Our private tour lasted 2 1/2 hours. I purchased a hand held ghost meter from Amazon ($16) which was blinking at the haunted painting of the Queen. It was ultra sensitive...More

Yes we sure do. Choose the youth/Kama'aina option during the booking process to save $10, then show the guide your state ID at the beginning of the tour. Mahalo.
