There is a nice path along the bay which you can follow from downtown Seward to the boat harbor. There are many scenic snowcapped mountains in the distance. We did not see them the day we arrived as the weather was very rainy and foggy....More

Beautiful area. We took a whale watching tour and saw humpbacks and orcas, plus sealions, otters and eagles. Amazing area and well worth the trip!

If you want to see marine life in the wild this is the place to do it! There is quite a variety to see too. The water is so beautiful. Take a boat tour to see all that this bay has to offer.

Took the train from Anchorage to Seward, then cruised out via the bay. Amazing vistas all around. Recommend to anyone considering Alaska.

We had a week in Alaska and did three day cruises. Two were with the same cruise line - to Kenai Fjords (5 hrs) and Prince William Sound-Resurrection Bay (5.25 hr), each with a great buffet meal (additional cost). The third cruise was a short...More

Beautiful snow capped, cloud-loved mountains. Lots of ships of various sizes and types - cruise ship, fishing vessels, tours boats going back and forth from the harbor.

Many people will experience Resurrection Bay from the water on some form of boat trip. Maybe a fishing charter or a scenic view charter. Others will be doing paddle boarding. The waters are calm and peaceful. On clear days, reflections of the mountains in the...More

We took a boat out on to the Bay and it was so beautiful and so peaceful. We saw a couple of whales, seals were all over the rocky coastline and if you looked hard enough you could find sheep up on the rocks on...More
