Virgil, the owner, is famous both in Alaska and outside the state for his craftsmanship. When you wander in to his shop, he will chat with you about where each item came from, how he collects things and what his favorite materials are to work...More

I live nearby and stop in frequently whenever I have visitors from out of state. Virgil is famous around the State for his handmade knives. I have a fillet knife that he made to my specifications. I could not be happier with the finished product....More
