My wife and I went on an excursion with Ocean Raft Alaska in Skagway, hosted by Bevin and Alyssa, the boat captain and naturalist respectively. Both hosts were very personable and made the activity even more enjoyable. The boat ride was comfortable/ we were fortunate to have smooth water that day. Cold water survival suits, which also serve as your life preserver, were comfortable and plenty warm. Clean headgear and gloves were provided if you didn’t BYO. The 90 min our trip goes by quickly. We saw many bald eagles, harbor seals, and mountain goats. All 24 passengers on board, many with some physical challenges seemed to enjoy the trip. Highly recommended!…

Had an amazing time! My friend and I splurged on this excursion - and boy, did we choose right! Such a fun experience. Short bus ride to where you suit up in warm waterproof outfits (many sizes offered), then you hop in the boat and ride around the fjord! Took on big waves, did doughnuts, and spotted plenty of wildlife. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Pictures don't do the scenery justice - so beautiful! We were in awe while still having a blast bouncing over the waves. And we had plenty of time to check out the town and shop around afterwards. Absolutely recommend!…

Awesome time on the Zodiac! Do yourself a favour and do this when you are in Skagway. Our tour had Captain Jen (pilot) and Alyssa (naturalist), and both know what they are are doing. Fun from the start when suiting up in the very fashionable bright red "marshmallow suit", to riding the waves at high speed on the Zodiac. Both Capt Jen and Alyssa are passionate with what they do and answered all any questions with plenty of info. We saw lots of seals, eagles but no wales. Probably as it was so late in the season. … an excuse to go back in the future. Had so much fun and couldn't wipe the grin off my face for the rest of the day!…

We chose this excursion during a cruise ship excursion to Skagway. Prior to going out in the boat, we were provided full flotation suits that provided safety and comfort. Fortunately, it was a very nice day so we really didn't need much protection from the weather. There were 15-20 passengers on the boat with a captain and naturalist. The boat is fast so we got to see a good bit of the Lynn Canal. There wasn't too much wildlife but the sights were very pretty and the ride was fun. The crew did a great job. We recommend…
