We visited because we had a 12€ Provins Pass, alternatively entry is 4€30 for this attraction. We had a walk through, I wasn't overly impressed. No self guided audio tour, all signs in French only.

Despite the fact that we don't speak French, we decided to visit this museum since it was included in the price of our pass (12 Euros). It's a small three level museum with a variety of artifacts from Provins. It would have been more interesting if we understood French and could read about the items, or if they offered an English translation, but it was still interesting to see the sculptures, artifacts from churches, and a variety of other items. Without being able to read anything, our visit only took about 20 minutes. Allow at least twice as long if you can read the signs. …

A surprising amount of information and objects in such a small place. Warning, everything is written in French and they didnt seem to have English guidebooks. Luckily my husband speaks french, but if you dont it will probably be a lot of guesswork.

We enjoyed everything we saw in Provins. The medival village is the reason why we went there in the first place. The village is very well preserved and interesting to look at. And we all know that with a medival village comes with a medival castle which is amazing. The reason I rated just with three stars is because the museum seems very empthy. Maybe if they look mor for things to show is would be amazing. Recommended for children who love history.…
