A MUST

It is borderline criminal to visit Seattle and not spend a couple of hours or more here. Just go and soak it in. The culture, the vibe and the people. This is simply a must

This place is PACKED. It's really packed or at least it was when we got there which was about 2:00. I've heard since that tour ships are emptying near there now and maybe that's the reason. Friends had told me to guard my purse while there and I can see why. We inched through and sometimes came to a complete... More

Patience. Be patient in deciding where you want eat, or what you want to buy. Ok, I'm an old guy and can't eat much. We decided to eat at the first restaurant we saw after braving the stair climb. Wrong. Not that it was bad, it is just that there are many good eating establishments. Take your time, look around,... More

There are places that you can save for next time when you travel, but in this case Pike Place Market is not one of them. You haven't experience Seattle if you you haven't been to Pike Place Market. Honestly before I came here I know that I had to go but was expecting it to be kind of a tourist... More

The market is full of an amazing array of different vendors selling everything from tasty treats and spices to flowers, jewelry and pieces of Art. I always find inspiration walking through the market. Also a great place to people-watch. :-)

Always crowded with lots of tourists in summer watching fish being thrown to wrap for customers. Delicious fresh veggies & fruit, fish, sausage, homemade jellies, homemade jewelry, hats, clothes and beautiful, beautiful bouquets of fresh flowers. Good restaurants & the FIRST ORIGINAL STARBUCKS (always a line), French bakery, paintings & street music. Fun!

We always head to Pike's place for great coffee and foodie gifts to share with others. There is a morning tour that introduces you to the businesses and history of the market-haven't taken that tour yet, but will do so during our next visit.

If you're in Seattle, you need to wander through the Pike Place Market. Food stalls, local artisans, buskers, and flowers. You won't go away hungry or empty handed. There's also a stunning view of Puget Sound.
