For one of the best views of Seattle head to Kerry Park, a small park located on the south side of Queen Anne Hill. A photo from here is Seattle postcard-perfect, featuring ferries crossing Elliott Bay, the city skyline with the Space Needle in the forefront and, if weather conditions are favorable, a view of Mt. Rainier.

I lived in the Seattle area for 5 years before discovering this gem. GO THERE! It has a great view of the city and the Space Needle looks taller than the other buildings from here.

Kerry Park offers a different view of Seattle and the Space Needle. On a good day, you can see Mount Rainier too. It is very picturesque on a Sunny day. Parking is free.

Here you will view Seattle downtown from a hill, with the Space Needle almost on eye-level and on a clear day, Mt. Rainer could be visible, too. Ferries can be seen on the Puget sound sailing to neaby islands.

Finally made it to Kerry Park on our last day in Seattle coming back to downtown from the Fremont area. The scenic overlook upon downtown is worth the trip. It was very relaxing. It was about a 2mile walk back downtown, not bad at all...More

We drove up to the park for a quick picture. It was worth the drive! Spectacular views. Many locals were here too. It’s a very popular place for prom and wedding photos.

Our goal was Kerry Park, but we parked about a mile away - had a wonderful muffin/coffee cake at Macrina Bakery, then took our coffee and wandered through the neighborhoods looking at the fine homes. It was a sunny day, so clear views of Seattle...More

A little awkward to drive to, some really small streets (at one point I was convinced I’d accidentally gone the wrong way on a one way, which wouldn’t have surprised me as Seattle generally doesn’t understand signage). But once at our location it was a...More

Worth it. Favor the right side of the park and arrive at dusk when the city lights turn on. At night you lose Rainier. During the day, the cranes will distract from your image.
