Ballard is one of the most interesting neighborhoods in Seattle. While some may find it a bit too funky, it’s teeming with wonderful bars, restaurants and shops. While downtown Seattle can seem like an outdoor mental hospital, that influence is somewhat less evident in Ballard....More

Always a bit "funky". The neighborhood extends further than the main cross streets. Walk around and see many of the Craftsman style homes. In the nice weather many homes have lovely flower gardens. Get a feel for one of the interesting Seattle neighborhoods.

However, make sure your purchase is in stock....More

Ballard is a very nice neighborhood with historical background. It has a lot of character here as there many buildings with character. Lots of shops and restaurants here. Easy to walk around and explore. The area is not crowded with tourists but mainly locals.

I was delighted to have arrived for the Ballard Saturday night art market. It was a little different than I had imagined. I assumed there would be stalls and tents set up on the sidewalks showcasing artisans. Instead they were within the store. I was...More
