I have to echo the other reviewers who say there just isn't much to see here for the price. We got through it in just an hour and a half and even that was stretched out. Part of the problem is that there is a...More

A wonderful aquarium right on the ocean that has a ton of interactive activities for kids. A small life saver was that they had a bag and coat check! It was so nice to put them away after walking on the pier in the rain!

Great place to take kids. However there isn't much of a variety of animals to see for the price of admission. I thought this would take up half of the day. We were through the Aquarium in a hour and a half. This includes shopping...More

An absolute must see when you visit Seattle. Great for adults and kids alike. And it's expanding so it will only get even better. Plan on at least an hour and two-three if with kids.

The Seattle Aquarium has an ideal setting on the waterfront. It is a fun place to go with kids and they have some "hands on" features for kids. It is not large, but has good displays and teaching by the staff. The otters are a...More

Yes, it has Otters, and Seals :) And many other sea dwelling creatures. And a few birds too. This isn't a huge aquarium, but interesting enough that I lost a few hours in here, and would have lost a few more if I had the...More

Having lived and visited the Chicago Shedd aquarium extensively, my expectations were high. This place offers a unique experience and perspective on the Pacific Northwest ecosystem and educates visitors about the delicate balance and impacts humans exert. It educates and entertains with a great group...More

We made a quick decision to check out the aquarium and we’re glad we did. Very good displays featuring river and ocean dwellers from the Pacific Northwest. We especially appreciated the staff and their ability to answer questions.

Although a smaller aquarium than typically found on the west coast, this is a nice facility with a lot of interaction and very nice exhibits. The animals are easily spotted and the presentations are nice for families with children eager to learn. We enjoyed our...More

The aquarium is nice but in my opinion needs some better signage for the exhibits. It is about average size. It has a lot of hands on exhibits and docents to answer questions. I thought the best two exhibits were the underwater dome and the...More

yes we did, I particular like the sea lions, otters and certain birds are my favorite, like eagles, and owls, and a few others. No matter where I go I try to explore new aquariums or zoos or safari parks.
