I have been to better aquariums but I am probably the worst critic because I love wildlife and animals, dislike seeing them kept. I felt the enclosures were small for the size of animal/marine life.

Small but fun and full of cute animals. We spent a couple of hours on a rainy day here, it was really enjoyable, we loved the otters and the jellyfish arch was really neat and colorful. We had a quick bite to eat in the cafeteria and that was a good sandwich and rice krispie treat.

This aquarium is older and I have been to 2 new and fabulous ones. However, it is good for children and I did love seeing an octopus up close. They also have some creature exhibits. They have a dome that you can sit under and watch the fish and divers which is pretty cool.

We visited the Seattle Aquarium as a part of the Seattle CityPass. We live in Central Florida and have access to SeaWorld Orlando, and can take a 45 minute drive and be at the beach, but we wanted to see the Pacific side of the country. The Seattle Aquarium is located right on the water and has paid parking (metered... More

Yes, it is small, but you get a lot of personal attention and great information on the local sea life. Lots of interactive and hands on exhibits

School was still in session when we went so there were at least 200 kids eating lunch all over the floor in the entrance area when we got there. Once we found a way through them the rest of our visit was nice...until they all caught up with us. :) We spent the most time watching the cute Sea Otters.... More

Came on a weekday. The aquarium was ok -- not great. The tanks were fine, it just did not have a lot. The dome room was pretty cool. Unfortunately there were lots of kids and they were poorly chaperoned and that definitely detracted from the experience. The seals and the otters were nice. The bird area was also nice.
