Not a large Japanese garden but well laid out. The garden was developed around an early 17th century style known as stroll gardens. With winding paths, benches, water features and bridges. The fall colours were wonderful during our visit in November.

After traveling around Olympic National Park and Mount Rainier this Garden was not overly impressive. It's a neat garden that offers you a sense of peace and calm while in the City but it wasn't anything spectacular.

The Japanese maples were beautiful! Nice walk to combine with a trip to the Arboretum. The fall is a nice time to visit.

Went to Japanese gardens to visit and paint. Peaceful and tranquil, not overrun by lots of people. But it seems sad that there is a fee to enter... Where's the tea house? Needs geisha gals!

went here in October after getting off a 2 hour flight. Was such a pleasure to have a brisk walk amid all the beauty. Trees were in fall colors that were and are spectacular.
