We visited the Zoo by accident, didn't plan it at all, but had some spare time and decided to drop by. It turned out to be the best decision of the day. The Zoo is wonderful. It is about the same size as Vancouver Zoo, but with way bigger collection of animals, some of which I've never seen or heard... More

We love this Zoo! It is very doable to get around to most exhibits in an afternoon. The surroundings are lush and beautiful as you walk from place to place. Penguins and Flamingos are our favorite!

This zoo is perfect for young children. Bring snacks and drinks, it gets pricey in there. The layout is nice and the walking are paved and great for strollers. There are a lot of different animals and wildlife to see. Bring your good tennis shoes! Expect to spend the day there!

We love this zoo. It was where we had our first date and we decided to get married there a year later. That was 11 years ago and we have enjoyed being members ever since. We typically visit about once a week for a short 1-2 hour stroll / picnic. The membership price is an outstanding value, especially if you... More

I've gone to this Zoo a million times in the summer, but this was my first Fall visit. The zoo gets really hot in the summer, but fall is so much better. It's mild temperature, and not as crowded. We actually had time to see the whole zoo, not just part. I still miss the Nocturnal House, but the zoo... More

It is a perfect size zoo to take my two boys, ages 1 and 4, to for a few hours. They have their favorite animals, but they always find something new they didn't notice before. I also like that I get in lots of walking, but it isn't so huge that we can't do it all in one trip. Like... More

This was the first time we went to the Wildlights. First, the problems. Parking at close to the opening time was next to impossible to find. Not all lots were open and what were open were full which sends one to the neighborhoods. The entrance line process was hit and miss. We were supposed to be in one line if... More

The lights are beautifully done up, with a lot of creative design and intricate detail. Santa and his reindeer also make an appearance. However, there should be more live animals on weekdays rather than only on weekends.

This review is only about Wildlights, the Christmas light show featuring light displays, Santa Claus and fun activities. The lights were beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves, but there was no real "pathway"so we were a bit confused trying to figure out the maze of lights. In all honestly, I prefer "Zoolights" at Point Defiance Zoo or the Oregon Zoo,... More
