The Woodland Park Zoo is most notable for it's large areas of green space, including picnic areas and play areas for the kids. They have a carousel, which the kids love, and many animal exhibits. I would recommend the birds of prey presentation, if you...More

We came on a gorgeous day to the zoo and got there about 2:30 not realizing the zoo closed at 4. Not enough time to see everything in that time frame. Giraffes were in cages and not in the savanna exhibit. Gorillas and orangutans were...More

The temperature was about 45 degrees, but most of the animals were visible. It was our first experience at this zoo and we were quite impressed.

The children still seemed to have enjoyed it but there weren't many animals out. So didn't work out for us and we only spent about 3 hours there.

It was so nice to see the animals enjoying their habitats. The monkeys were playing non stop during our visit. The assortment of animals is nice and with so many view points of each enclosure, you are sure to see your favorites.

We visited with our daughter to celebrate her third birthday, and she had a blast. It was cold the day we went (it even snowed a bit!), so some animals weren’t out for viewing, but those that were looked healthy and well taken care of....More

Was nice walking around in the rain. Keep the crowds done. As it’s winter a lot of the animals were not out but there were still enough to see.

It is a very nice zoo. I liked the interactive dinosaur exhibit when I last visited. I would say Detroit, MI and San Diego, Ca have it to beat but it is a good quality zoo and fun to visit
