This is a must see and must experience. We walked the entire length and back and was in awe of the Fall colors. Not only the colors, but the diversity of plant life, along with its lushness. When you come, leave yourself time to enjoy the quiet and serenity of this place. Also, be sure to bring a camera, or... More

Very nice natural area. Spring and fall are its best times. Sone homeless drunks or sketchy folks lurking. Dont go solo. Nice paths very interesting. Wirth sering.

TERRIBLE detour signage. I tried to see the Arboretum in the fall/winter of 2016 and had trouble navigating and couldn't park. Very difficult to get to.

The arboretum is bigger than I expected, with a lot of different walking paths. We walked around for a while and ended up getting lost on the way back because we took the wrong path. It is a beautiful natural area, and a great way to spend an afternoon.

A great park for hikes, views, and picnics. Immerse yourself in the overwhelming greenery. Definitely go for the fall colors. Very nice if it is foggy, also, for brisk walks, fresh air, and contemplation.

Dog-walking paradise, birds galore! Lovely & well-maintained paths with beautiful specimens in any season. Can feel a little lonely for a walk alone, but I feel safe with my large dog, and usually see other joggers, walkers, families, but it is so huge as to never feel crowded. Some idiots let their dogs run free, spoiling the ambiance for everyone... More

The Washington Park Arboretum is one of the nicest spots to visit in the Greater Seattle area - especially considering that you can visit for free! My wife and I especially enjoy visiting during the spring months when you can catch the camellias, azaleas, rhododendron, fruit and nut trees and much more in bloom. The well kept grounds are enormous... More

The Arboretum is not very big at all compared to the rest of the park. It is an absolute breathtaking spot. No need to rush here you can walk around at your own pace. Lots of fish in the water and turtles as well. It was not busy at all the day we went and we could sit and just... More

What a lovely place to walk and enjoy nature. The trees were magnificent, and the areas were arranged according to types of trees. The maples were great. The paths were easy to walk along, and you could adjust your route to the time available. The gift shop had lots of neat books about plants and flowers. Lots to see and... More

I had a few hours to kill before heading to the airport and didn't want to spend them sitting inside a building. So, I drove to the arboretum and toured the Japanese Garden and walked the trails. The sights were stunning due to the fall colors and the genius landscaping and choice of gardening. The Japanese Garden costs $6 to... More
