When we were there, almost nothing was going on. 3 or 4 pieces to see. But we came for the Turrell thing, and that was the least interesting of all Turrell works we have seen so far

The Henry Gallery is a small museum on the University of Washington campus. It's free for UWA students and faculty, as well as members of museums that participate in the North American Reciprocal Membership Program (if a frequent museum-goer, this can really help save money)....More

Small but lovely airy venue. Perfect for a short outing. Interesting and well rounded collection of large format photographs and paintings with a couple of pieces on loan from John Shirley's collection. My favorite was a polaroid silhouette of Kara Walker.

Really interesting collections, retro, funky. Lots of inspiration. Will be back to see what exhibits will be held next time that is new.

I visited the gallery one Saturday in late June during a recent trip to Seattle. I came solely to visit the Skyspace by James Turrell, which is really remarkable. I was able to spend nearly two hours in the room, with only two or three...More

We visited when the MFA graduating students were showing their work. I believe their work is equal to and sometimes superior to other work that was on exhibition in the gallery at the time. The Gallery's permanent work is outstanding. We're glad our son recommended...More
