This is a nice little lighthouse and you will enjoy your visit if you plan accordingly. The lighthouse is only open for tours on Sunday afternoons until 3:45 from Memorial Day through Labor Day mainly because the Admiral lives in the lighthouse keepers house and...More

We knew the light house would be closed for tours however, we thought we would get some good outside shots and views back to Downtown Seattle. Unfortunately it was not easy to locate and most access points were private property. Would try again in summer...More

We drove to Alki Point and located the lighthouse. It was fenced in and on private property so we could not get a great picture. We saw it the next day from the Ferry to Bainbridge Island and got better pictures that way. The views...More

It looks like a very beautiful and well kept lighthouse. It closed at 3:30 for tours according to the sign, so we couldn't go into the fenced area. The lighthouse is surrounged by private homes so you have to know it is there to find...More

Alki Beach and surrounding area is most definitely worth a visit. But don't make a special trip just to see the lighthouse. Go for the views of the water and the mountains.

Nice park, and clean location. Bump into some very polite local people, and enjoyed one hell of a view. Nice, quiet area for a personal picnicking, and if your into lighthouses, well worth it.

We were able to make the tour which runs summer weekends in the afternoon. Check their website for more info - they even have someone responding to emails regarding the light. The guides were very knowledgeable and I was able to climb the tower for...More

There were specific timings for a guided tour. Other than that, it belonged to a private residential area which outsider like us are not permitted to enter. Alki Beach itself is good enough for me and I did not really find the guided tour worthy...More

The tours are held on weekends and there isn't all that much to see as the lighthouse is small. The original light is amazing and the grounds on which the lighthouse is located are lovely and not open to the public except for when the...More

No was unable to get to lighthouse. It's on a coast guard gated insulation and didn't do tours til June 1.
