Very busy with fishing boats, pleasure craft, tourist rentals, sightseeing boats and sea planes. Lots of activity to watch or do, and restaurants with great views.

Lots of free parking available around the lake. Great shops and restaurants too. Nice parks that are free.

This is a fantastic place to watch the sailboats from the dock. We were outside Duke's near sunset May 29th and saw the amazing colors spread across the evening sky.

This is Seattle's downtown lake. There are many houseboats on the shore of this lake, including the one which was featured in the movie Sleepless in Seattle. It is connected to Lake Washington by a canal called the Montlake Cut, which is at the south...More

We came to Lake Union with an understanding we could catch a water taxi and see the house boats. Only to find out you can’t do it anymore. Was a little disappointed. But watching the sea planes take off and land were cool! We came...More
