A walk around Green Lake is most enjoyable. Good exercise and a wonderful vista. Can be very busy, and most people take no notice of the walking and bicycling signs. Plenty of dogs and not every owner is as diligent as they should be. That aside I wouldn't miss it each time I am in Seattle.

I took my grandchildren here on a hot afternoon. The lake had a lot of swimmers/waders but still lots of room for them. It is clean and well maintained with great picnic venues and plenty of grass for observers to lounge around on.

The loop around the lake is about 2.8 miles. And on a sunny day it's well worth the fun of walking children or dogs. It does get busy but nothing overly busy that you can't enjoy yourself. Plenty of restaurants and shops you can grab a bite to eat as well. There's a place you can rent kayaks and those... More

Wonderful place for exercising or just enjoying the walk around the lake. There's also fun and interesting activities, like toro Nagashi, floating lighted lanterns. Or the boat races. I go for 7:00 am tai chi or free yoga during the summer.

This park is great to walk or run along the Green Lake waterway with or without your dog. You can also enjoy a picnic or just sit and people watch and feel completely safe.

The park offers a loop good for 3 miles run along the lake shores. It is kid friendly and is located in the popular area of Seattle. Has restaurants and bars and coffee shops very close by. Parking can be a bit tight during summers and peak time

Green lake is always awesome. A serene walk to find your zen and a great place to people watch and see lots of cute dogs. Be careful with parking as there's always the risk of having your car broken into if you park in a seedy area. Overall a great public resource for everyone to enjoy. Lots of great restaurants/coffee... More

Even on Thanksgiving Day the hardy Seattle Folk are out running, walking and enjoying nature in the rain. Despite the conditions, everyone was warm and friendly. Good place for kids to get some energy out. Once around is about 3 miles.
