Awesome bike ride from Bothell to Seattle. My biking friend and I were soaked but loving it. It was not crowded at all. We biked about 24 miles round trip. Fall makes everything feel better! It's walkable as well.

Watch out for the bikes (often speeding, oblivious to pedestrians or traffic signs)!! Great walk along the lake and through Seattle neighborhoods. One of the most unusual city parks in the US.

No matter where you pick up the Burke Gilman it is always a different experience. We usually walk the northern end by Lake Forest Park and Bothell. This time we started by Pacific and Latona just west of I-5. We walked through GasWorks Park and...More

I have biked may rail trails and this one is excellent, would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars (it's on the railtrails.org Hall of Fame). A mix of wooded areas and lovely water views (unfortunately, nice homes block the view significantly with only brief...More

The Burke Gilman trail, while it can get crowded in the summer, is a great way to zoom around the city while getting some exercise. I personally really like biking over the Fremont Bridge and heading towards the Ballard Locks, but there's intersecting trails all...More

This is an OK bike ride. However, it functions more as a road than anything. I think if you were to try to walk it in a pleasurable way, that would be interrutped by cyclists and pepole trying to get from point A to point...More

REALLY, REALLY enjoyed this urban trail. The only thing that could have made it better was more unobstructed views of Portage Bay, Lake Washington & Lake Union. We rented bikes near Washington Univ., and needed just a short connection to reach the trail.

We walked and bicycled on the trail during a recent vacation. Users are mostly considerate but there are both muti-abreast walkers and aspiring bicycle racers. Most people seem reasonable and many bicyclists were obviously trying to stay out of the way of pedestrians.

It’s a great ride , plain and flat with nice views and food options to stop during your ride. You can go to amazing places , like Ballard locks , gas works , Uw district , Magnusson Park , kenmore and Juanita park/ beach.
