This was the happening place. The line was outrageous. We did not wait in that long line, we went around 9:00 pm, no line and the service was great.

The line will be long, but it moves much faster than your typical Starbucks. The coffee was as you'd expect. At the end of the day, it's just a normal cup of Starbucks coffee, just in a "historic" location.

This small, original coffee shop is as you'd expect; small, busy and extremely popular. Serves the standard Starbucks menu along with a magnitude of different gifts/collectables/memorabilia. Well worth the visit if you love coffee. Fantastic location slap bang next to Pike Place which is an amazing place on its own.

Interesting place, but a lot of tourists. :) Huge queues in the morning, the coffee was delicious. (As always)

This is just like a 'normal' Starbucks, lots of mugs and commemorative merchandise to buy. It's not the biggest building, but it's crazy popular with tourists and so had a massive line which wasn't well organised. Waited a good 20 mins to buy two mugs and then another 15 mins for two drinks. Staff were very friendly and welcoming though,... More

If you are really that bothered about going to the first Starbucks, then all well and good. Enjoy! However, seeing this as an important historical location is stretching it a bit. If you have a few days in Seattle then looking at it from across the road and ticking the "done that" box is about all it needs. There are... More

So glad I visited to see where Starbucks all began. I'm not sure that there ever isn't a line to get in, but the employees are very quick and efficient.

Usually a long line to get into the original Starbucks. They offer merchandise that you can't purchase anywhere but this store. The outside has the "original" Starbucks logo which was changed because some people though it was risque!!
