Ramune is $1.99 where we liv e but just $.99 here. There are dozens of sake and beer choices, food to eat there, food to go, and a great grocery selection. Today was our second visit in two days but the lights went out and everyone was asked (very politely) to leave. We'll return later this week.

Uwajimaya isn't the only place to get Asian goods, nor is it the cheapest, but it's always fun to visit. The grocery store does emphasize Japanese cuisine and includes a bookstore and houseware section. But they also have Filipino and Vietnamese baked goods as well as a small but diverse food court inside.

Best overall Asian market. Nice gift sets of cracker assortments. Book store was very good. Parking fee depends on how much you buy.

I love everything about this place except for the customer service. The cashiers are great but two of those on the floor are, for a lack of better word, useless. These two young men on the floor exerted zero effort in helping me find what I needed. Okay, maybe they exerted 1% effort. I have been to other Asian markets... More

While primarily an Asian market, Uwajimaya is a worthy destination for anyone interested in food! Checkout the spices, fresh seafood, seasonal specialties, unique serveware - hard to take it all in! The fast food court is loaded with options - worth an add on stop!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. Grocery selection is awesome with the best produce, both familiar and exotic. Food court is terrific with many choices and the gift area is perfect for any occasion. Highly recommend!

I went yesterday with my mom. Parking is not bad and if you buy more than $7.00 of merchandise, you get free parking. Second, it is right next to Century Link field and a hot pot place. There is also a fine regular grocery selection but it does have a wider variety of asian food supplies. The food court has... More

The bookstore and grocery store were a great stop for my husband and I while in Seattle. There are not many attractions in Chinatown, but this was worth a stop if you're in the area. Good location for local culture.
