- TLG056Kansas City, Missouri389 contributionsVery Nice Ball ParkWe are working on visiting every major league ball park, and we were able to make it to T-Mobile Park on our recent visit to Seattle. It is a very nice park with lots of food choices. There are two parking structures nearby and while expensive to park, it was worth it to be so close.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 September 2023
- Matt D1 contributionCarol the Usher in Section 106On Wednesday, my wife and I went to the Mariner game and sat in section 106. While we were there we met a fantastic usher named Carol. Scoreboard is awesome. Section 200 seats are padded! If staying downtown take the rail. It’s easy. Very busy team story!Visited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 28 April 2024

We had a great view of the field from our seats, but the food was both pricey and not too great. Security was very strict about bags, which put us on a ten minute diversion to offload a friend's purse in a locker.Visited June 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 25 May 2024

- DMV72 contributionsBest Park in the MajorsWe have attended many games here over the years, and it is my favourite MLB park to visit. The site lines are good regardless of where you sit. Food and beverage options are numerous and varied and team stores are really good with lots of great M's souvenir options. Parking, like at pretty much all major venues is way overpriced, however is a necessity that needs to be done.Visited May 2024Travelled soloWritten 20 June 2024

- Julie97_12Wesley Chapel, Florida176 contributionsNice Park, fun time!Nice park! Was a nice day when we got there but rain moved in so they closed the roof, that was cool to watch. Wall in the outfield is open air so still gives an outdoor feel. You can take unopened water in and they do free soda refills so that's nice. You cannot bring in bags/purses, so we had to get a locker. You can bring in clear bags. But check the policy before you go!Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 2 July 2024

Tour of TMobile Baseball Stadium - We were looking for a wet day activity, deciding on a tour of the Seattle Mariners Baseball Stadium. These are offered when the Mariners are out of town. The price was $15 per adult - well worth the money. We had a great guide (Mary), who got into the Mariners years ago watching the games with her husband. Mary gave us a great tour, offering history on Seattle, discussion of the Kingdome and building facts on this field. We had time to enjoy the baseball chandelier - 1000 resin bats! We had great views of the Sound and city. We saw the field from up high and down to the field and visitor's dugout. We went into the fancy suites, seeing wonderful photos of players old and new. We visited the Press Conference room where I sat in the chair where Ken Griffey Jnr recently sat. Did you know it costs $33 to either open or close the roof of the stadium? There were many facts and interesting pieces of information. Do the tour. You will be glad you did. And thank you Mary.

This is my 21st or 22nd out of the 30 MLB parks and this fits squarely in the middle of them, in terms of quality and memorability.
Pros: Good location near chinatown. Lots of shaded seats, which is nice for an afternoon or rainy game. Didn't notice any obstructed view seats. There's a little museum of sorts on the main concourse, behind some of the vendors. Growing up a huge Griffey Jr. fan, I enjoyed that. Decent selection of food
Cons: that food is super pricey and has extraordinarily long lines. I've never seen such long lines at a baseball game. At the pizza stand, they didn't allow me to order a pizza because there were already other people waiting for them. The encounter I had with that cashier was one of the dumbest things I have experienced at a ballpark ever. So I advise you to eat before the game. The other major con is that the park is not very picturesque. Few city views (except 2nd deck, first base line), nothing uniquely interesting to identify the park from pictures.

I had the fortune of growing up in Fenway and have visited 26 MLB ballparks. I went to the King Dome from 1977-1999. This slick place is extremely pricey, antiseptic, and LOUD. Why do fans need to be exhorted to MAKE NOISE? Why are there incessant flashing ads and random boat races which seem to excite the non-baseball fans on their cell phones? The cost of bottled water is nothing short of pure greed. And the concessions no longer take cash. I guess we need to fund Julio for the next ten years ..... go to a real ballpark like Wrigley or Oracle.

Really nice ballpark. We attended a day game on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Roof was open so there was a lot of sun. If you are sitting in a sunny section bring sun screen. We had typical cool Seattle temperatures so it was nice in the sun. The park is one of the cleaner stadiums I have been to. Concession prices are typical of all ballparks…on the high side. You can bring in outside water and food. Be aware you need a clear bag to get items in. Take a look at the Mariners website for specific information. Currently they require masks on the concourse but once sitting in the stands you can remove them. They also don’t require Covid vaccination proof or negative Covid test. All of that subject to change so be aware.

We loved this baseball park. Friendly with great atmosphere. Mariners fans really support them!
Be warned you can only take in small clear plastic bags so if you want to keep this outing inexpensive remembers:
Take clear bag (otherwise $10 for a locker outside park), take in sealed water bottle (otherwise $5 in the park). You can also take single servings of food.
Concession Food wasn’t great and was expensive - more than usual. free refills on soft drinks.

A great stadium. At the main entrance, there is a statue of Ken Griffey Jr. The stadium has nice views from everywhere. It also has a variety of foods from a giant cookie to grasshoppers.... It began to rain and we were able to see them close the roof. Which was pretty cool. I recommend this stadium.

This is the 3rd ballpark my fiancé and I have been to together, but I’ve been to a few more myself. I really enjoyed this ballpark and the food selection they had. Just a little surprised at the cost of some items compared to other parks and the fact that my fiancé was given a tough time bringing a small purse into this park, but we’ve never had a problem at other parks with that same small purse. Overall a good experience!

Was able to check another baseball stadium off our bucket list in July when we saw the Mariner's play the Angels at T-Mobile Park.
Over all the stadium is beautiful, clean and not too crazy crowded. I mean there were lots of people but it was possible to walk without shoulder checking others in order to make progress. Food selection was decent and its ritual to try a stadium's hotdogs for us - the dogs at T-Mobile were very yummy although I miss the ability to put diced white onions on it. I was a little disappointed that the only 'ice cream' available in our area was dippin' dots. Not a good equivalent.
We did not drive to the park, so I can't speak to parking. (We took a ride share. Getting to the park was fine...getting out another story - was hard to find a ride.) Security gave my partner a hard time for a small non see through purse, so we had to check their purse at a food vendor who also did lockers for a fee. It was kind of annoying as every other stadium we've been too found the purse to be small enough to bring in. Be warned - don't bring a purse or use the see through options if you have one.
The team store was so, SO packed even getting in early. We managed to get a couple hats and bailed. I may have bought more, but it was too difficult to navigate through the store and actually look at stuff.
People behind the registers all across the stadium were nice and welcoming.
The game itself was great and well played. Shocker - the Angels won? I'm an Angels fan that stopped going to games until Arte sells, so it was nice to see them in Seattle. The Mariner's are my next fave team in their division.
Definitely a park I'd like to return to.

T-Mobile Park is more or less a "retro" stadium with a hip, industrial vibe. Getting in and out was simple, and navigation is easy. The T-Moble Pen area is really cool, albeit crowded, and there are also some cool artistic elements throughout the park.
The game against the rival Blue Jays turned out to be a close one, and the crowd was electric. The park is pretty easy to get to from the Stadium light rail station. Overall, this is a really nice ballpark with a great atmosphere.

Hi. I'm staying in Edmunds, but want to go to a Mariners game in June.
I think I can take Amtrak to Seattle for the game.
My concern is how do I get back to Edmunds after the game? How late does Amtrak run?
Thank you for answering.

How far is the walk from the link light rail station (stadium stop). To T mobile park?
Written 29 August 2023
Maybe 1/4 of a mile. You leave the station and walk across the parking lot of Lumen Field. Then you will walk the large alley area between Lumen & T- Mobile. Note- the best hot dogs are in that alley area. It is the Seattle Dog.

Yes, I would definitely take a lightweight jacket with you. A lined windbreaker should be sufficient.

We stayed in the medical hill area so not close to the park. My son stayed near the Monorail so took the light rail. Easy transport. Sorry I can't help.

I have heard that Amtrak goes almost directly to the ballpark. I would like to take the train from Vancouver BC to watch the Mariners
Written 25 March 2019
Yes, Amtrak is a fine choice. Walk out the station door to King St and walk 2 blcks to Occidental, turn left an two blocks more you can enter at left field gate. Enjoy
Written 26 March 2019
Can the field be visited (not during a tour) by yourself? Or is the tour the only way in when you just want to visit the field?

We are coming to Seattle this weekend for a concert. We have a large truck, so underground parking is often difficult. Any recommendations where we may be able to reserve parking?
Written 20 August 2018
Seattle has a lot of surface lots where you can pay to park. You should not have a problem.
Written 21 August 2018
What hotels are close to the field? Is the subway nearby?
Written 19 August 2018
Sorry I don’t know. We stayed right down town and took Uber to the field that was 20 minutes away. I’m sure the subway is close but we didn’t use it so I can’t comment.
