As I surfed the web for places to visit, I remember The Seattle Library was the one I never had time for on my last visit. This time I made it a priority as I love architectural monuments. About 10 floors to choose from with endless views and choices of reading. I come from Edmonton and thought our library was... More

Very cool looking from the outside. Could have more books since there is just SO MUCH SPACE inside. Definitely a must-see when you visit Seattle.

Visited this great public institution shortly after the completion of the revolutionary new building. Continue to visit the changing services it provides to locals and visitors alike. The emerging new technologies continue to be absorbed effortlessly without abandoning the traditional/professional staff presence/helpfulness on all floors. Congratulations to the city elders/officials for retaining helpful professional staff & maintaining the high professional... More

It was raining so we stopped in for my daughter to peruse the teen manga collection. We found an entire teen section of the library. The third floor was cozy with lots of seating, most of which was full at noon. Limited selection of popular magazines.

This is the one that has everything. Super helpful staff, great lectures, easy access to reference books, online systems and all the books that you'd love to read.

Cool Building to look it both outside and in, however, ultimately just another city library. Nothing noteworthy about the collection or facilities

This is a beautiful large library. It is located in downtown Seattle which if you need parking it sometimes can be hard to find. Around the area many homeless people gather. The librarians are very helpful and kind. The views are super.

A beautiful light filled gem of a library. Visually stunning inside and out. Fun to walk, but easy transport up and down for those who cannot. Visually stunning inside and out.

We get books of all types easily through neighborhood library request online. Great for seattle area residents. But check for events/programs held at main library periodically. Recently for instance viewed a Shakespeare first folio there. Impressive. Theresa an associated old book sale including old Yale editions of his works at bargain prices.
