Having walked for miles and miles by the time we got to the Space Needle we were pretty tired so we caught the monorail back to our hotel. It runs very frequently, is cheap and fast and saves a lot of shoe leather! Ok, there...More

I've tried really hard to love the Monorail and find useful scenarios for it, and it disappoints me despite my best efforts. I always find the ticket counter to be unfriendly and overall there's a major lack of excellence and experience here. I've missed trains...More

This historic monorail was built for the Seattle Worlds Fair in 1962 and is fast and efficient In Getting you from downtown and Seattle Center! Usually enough seats for everyone during this short ride! It cost $5 round trip for adults and $2.50 for seniors...More

We took this from a couple of uphill blocks from Pikes Market to the Space Needle. Very quick and easy way to get there. There was no line up to get on and hardly any wait. Only a few cars but few travelers on the...More

Road this because it’s historic, fun and a great way to save some walking. Quick ride from one station to the other. Very reasonably priced. We got of the light link system and the monorail station was close by. Great since my mother has problems...More

The ride is short and on summer days the wait can be longer than it would take to walk to the one stop the train makes. It is run well, safe and clean and the crew efficient, but the $2.50 fare seems steep for the...More

Our tour guide on the Duck Ride suggested some places we might want to go see. The Monorail was a quick, inexpensive way to get back town from the Space Needle.

The monorail has been around since the worlds fair, but it is still a fun way to get around part of the city. It only goes between two points but it was a great way for us to get from our hotel (a few blocks...More

We were staying near the Space Needle and had found Seattle to be generally a very easy, comfortable and safe city to walk. However we really wanted to try the iconic monorail just once. We boarded at Seattle Centre. It was $2.50 each for a...More

We did not find Uber drivers to be plentiful in the area so the tram was a nice option to move from Pike Place Market area to City Center.

The Spheres are worth a specific visit, with a great view from the exterior, and free access to the exhibits on the lower level of the building. We did walk there from the Downtown Monorail location in less than 10 minutes... More

Yes - entrance is on second floor of mall. Look up and you will see monorail on East side of mall. There is a separate entrance just for monorail where you can walk up or take elevator or you can enter from mall.
