Really loved my visit here. It was an unexpected jewel in city of Seattle. Take time to relax and meditate. Also take the virtual tour on the Cathedral website.

Walking down the Hill from Breakfast at Glo's we opted to sight see on returning the central/downtown. We stopped by at the Cathedral to see what looked like a classic mid sized modern cathedral....very modern, started in the early 1900s...and fraught with some construction problems...More

As close as you are going to get to a European cathedral anywhere in this area. Check for Mass times. It's not exciting. It's an active church, not a playground...keep that in mind parents!

Such a beautiful mass. They sing the Profession of Faith. The altar is a circle very unique . Beautiful statues so much as well the windows. You can sit around the altar never seen that.

In the heart of First Hill, this huge cathedral is a Seattle Landmark. Viewed from downtown, the twin towers of the Cathedral dominate the skyline--sadly with very tall buildings being built around it, these landmark towers will soon be hidden. Interior of the Cathedral features...More

This 1907 church is impressive to admire from the outside due to its neo-Italian-Renaissance-style architecture with twin towers. The cathedral is open for quiet prayer and masses. If time allows step in inside to get a good view of the tabernacle, stain glass windows and...More
