As close as you are going to get to a European cathedral anywhere in this area. Check for Mass times. It's not exciting. It's an active church, not a playground...keep that in mind parents!

Such a beautiful mass. They sing the Profession of Faith. The altar is a circle very unique . Beautiful statues so much as well the windows. You can sit around the altar never seen that.

It's very interesting church. A huge interior with the altar in the middle makes this place unique. You can feel the special atmosphere since you entering this church. Not many sculptures, but whatever is there it's enough. There are nice stained glasses and very modern,...More

Newish (by European standards) cathedral with full congregation. We chose the mass which incorporated extra suinging which was very impressive.

Saint James Cathedral is the mother church of the Seattle Archdiocese and the seat of the archbishop. Its construction began in 1905 and was finished in 1907. Its height is 167 feet. The church has numerous beautiful organs.
