Any time of year is a great time to visit the farmers market in the U-District. But if you go during the summer the bounty gets even more abundant. You can find fresh eggs, baked goods, flowers, produce, pottery and more.

Perfect produce when we went on a Saturday morning in August! Cooking demonstration fascinated the kids! We loved the choices of berries, greens, flowers. They also sell food so going for breakfast and lunch is great idea too! Friendly venders! Good prices!

Must try the pickles! Did I mention the pickles? There are actually so many wonderful, tasty treats for the sweet and savory needs. There was a great live band playing as an added bonus.
