Very nice! Just rent some bikes and go for a ride. You'll feel great! Watch out for swarms of mosquitoes in Earthquake Park! ;-)

We live in Anchorage only a couple of blocks from the Coastal Trail and use the trail just about daily, either to walk downtown or to Lyn Ary Park from Westchester Lagoon. If you get a chance to go early, you may see wildlife at the Fish Creek Marsh, including moose, fox, and waterfowl in summer. Sandhill Cranes are common... More

I went biking along this trail, and had an absolute blast. Despite being close to downtown Anchorage, I witnessed Black Bears, Moose, Bald Eagles and a Red Fox. The views were amazing, and the trails were nicely paved.

Nice walk along historical coastal Anchorage. Great scenery and easy walk, very family friendly and if walked in it's entirety is right around 8 miles I believe.

Mainly flat with a few gentle slopes that hugs the coastline and connects numerous city parks. Can be enjoyable walking or riding a bike.
