We enjoyed our trip around Anchorage on the Trolley Tour. It was a beautiful day and the driver showed us Denali.

Tour person was a retired teacher who knew everything there was about Anchorage. Took us all around the city and pointed out all the interesting places to visit. Explained everything in detail about the city, mud flats, wildlife and many other things.

Pick-up drop off at the downtown visitor center - Tour guide was highly knowledgeable of Anchorage history current and past. As I recall he was born in Anchorage. He provided enlightened and comical commentary.. Highly recommend this tour for price.

City tours are often kind of hum-drum, but we really enjoyed this one-hour Trolley tour of Anchorage. You'll see several sections of the city, with special emphasis on the effects of the devastating 1964 9.2-magnitude earthquake and the huge floatplane "airport" area. Would you believe that 1/3 of all the floatplanes in the world are in Alaska? This $20 tour... More

Godd little tour, one of the highlights was our bus driver singing the national anthem as we were arriving back to base. It was so lovely and unexpected. It isn't a hop off hop on tour, it's a few hours around Anchorage, going past the major attractions.

This took about an hour and it was really good. We whizzed around the outskirts of town. Saw lots of things like Earthquake Park, floatplanes, moose gate/fence, city. underground house,

Here is a bus dressed as a tram doing a city tour. Very popular and very overpriced! This city tour grabs the cruise tourists and makes hay while the sun shines.

Donna McCarrey was our guide on the tour and she absolutely nailed it. Her narrative of history of the city and the earthquake on Good Friday plus sharing family stories about her husband's dental visit during the quake and aftershock had the entire tour enthralled. I highly encourage you to take the tour and if possible, ask for Donna's bus.... More
