This is a great educational museum to spend a few hours. It's small but has a ton of memorabilia. It's also free which is nice. The staff was so helpful and gave the kids swag. They loved it! They also have some good souvenirs if you want a tshirt or a hat. The trip was definitely worth it!

Very quaint museum, on the small side, but for free we would recommend going. A great history of the Alaska State Troopers is told through artifacts. The museum is curated by a friendly woman who is passionate about law enforcement. Our kids loved safety bear!

Nice exhibit of detailed items from the past many years of the State Troopers. A good collection of interesting items. Free to get in and some nice clothing items for sale as well as some small souvenirs.

Excellent collection of memorabilia and photos of law enforcement in Alaska. While weighted toward Alaska State Troopers, there is also information about other law enforcement forces in the state. A retired officer was the docent. He was very interesting to talk to and very friendly, answering all of our questions frankly and thoroughly. An added bonus was that I was... More

Looks like a shop front from the outside but you can easily spend an hour or more in this free museum. Lots of police memorabilia including uniforms, guns and an old Hudson police car. The videos on the history of the State Troopers are well worth the visit on their own.

Visited Anchorage and wanted to see this place but we got there at 4:15 and it was closed on a Thursday afternoon. Unfortunate as I had a patch for them.

The museum makes the most of their space by packing in more items than you can imagine it holding! It had a GREAT selection of items and clippings to look at. It was easy to walk through, and I spent about 30-45 minutes looking at everything. I easily could have taken more.

Well worth going inside even though the outside may not appear interesting. Large armchairs for viewing the video which was good. Old police car and uniforms etc.

If you have an hour to kill pop in and watch the short video about law enforcement in Alaska from the early 1900's and look at the items of memorabilia. It's only one room so don't go looking for a huge museum, we enjoyed it. P.S the sandwich shop next door was great for a snack
