The Hoover Dam is an amazing site to see. I think everyone should visit at least once in their life. I had visited the dam in the early nineties and I hadn't been back since the new bridge is open. I love history and nature and this is a great place to visit. The tour is $30 which I think... More

My traveling companions and I came here mainly b/c it was on the way from the Grand Canyon to Vegas, BUT I am so glad I went. The tour is very informative, and even though it was 117 degrees, we walked across the dam just to say we did it. Luckily, there was a huge misting fan at the end... More

What a place. Hard to fathom how they constructed it back in the 1930's The water line looks really low now so I hope it stabilises Worth a trip to see the magnitude of the place

So interesting and interesting. My husband and children loved this! My husband and son did the tour down the bottom. They loved it. I was super scared walking around the dam. Very scared of heights. Just amazing though.

Saw this as part of a helicopter ride. The scale is indeed breathtaking, and best experienced aerially.

This was my second trip to Hoover dam , but we had a senior hydro-engineer in our group who had worked on similar projects in his home country and wanted to see this in and out . We drove and it took us approx 40-45 min for the trip .Weather was nice and clear skies , so we enjoyed the... More

We stopped while in town for business. Definitely something to see and check off the bucket list. The magnitude of it all is just incredible. Worth seeing and a quick drive from Vegas.

Hoover Dam is a must see if you go to Las Vegas. It is one of the great construction marvels of the 20th century. Considering this was built during the Depression, the level of engineering and hard manual labor involved is incredible. Now that there is a bypass highway, the road across the dam is a lot less crowded than... More
