I'm so glad I read about this on TripAdvisor. Between July and November these animals come down to graze in this park from the nearby mountains. They're used to people but you have to use common sense since they're still wild animals - so make...More

When traveling out of Boulder City toward the Hoover Dam, take a minute to stop off and see the wild sheep in this park. They are there most days behind the tennis courts and picnic area. The park itself is nothing special but nice, as...More

Someone in our group had read about Hemenway Park. Since we would be passing so near it on our way back from Hoover Dam to Las Vegas, we decided to stop. It was dusk and we didn't see any sheep so the kids just played...More

This is an amazing stop for a visit to the area. Big Horn sheep come down from the mountains to graze, and you can get pretty close to them. Amazing animals.

Hemenway Park is a gem! Great view of Lake Mead in the background, big horn mountain sheep in the foreground.

Small quite park. The big horn sheep come down and find shade in this park. Enjoy views of lake Meade and have a picnic.
