Our first tour of this architect's work, the tour guide was well informed and answered a great number of questions. The end of the 1920's era with this remodel, which drove the owner into bankruptcy, sadly.

This was not a priority before our visit, but became one of our favourite experiences. We loved the tour of the house, and the history. An example of earlier FLW design, when he was more willing to accede to the owner's wishes (e.g. to preserve...More

The site is open year round Weds.-Sun. and seasonally Mon. & Tues. The website doesn't say when the seasonal ends. The best thing to do is call 1 217 782-6776. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
