We stop to see the falls, and to take a break. A nice photo-op. There are a few picnic tables if you would like to grab a bite to eat (as long as you brought something).

Beautiful context, beautiful nature, beautiful pictures... nice to go around and pass through the interior (you get somehow wet yes... :)). Highly recommend!

The hike along the cavern is amazing, but you may get wet and need to be sure-footed. The waterfall at the end is incredible!

Iceland has many waterfalls...if you do the tour you will see even more that are not marked as attractions. Go and visit as many as you can...they are very well organized...they have parking and easy access

A beautiful and thundering waterfall. The area behind was closed off, I am assuming it’s because it was icy and dangerous but there were some people ignoring the signs and venturing behind. Maybe next time!

This one is around 30mins drive west of Skogafoss, if go before Skogafoss, travelers should like it, but for me went here after Skogafoss, this comparatively became 2nd. However it requires 700ISK parking fee and only cards accepted, but there has a free toilet. Travelers...More

We stopped here on a chilly, windy day. The elements added to the mystique of the falls by making a fine mist to come off of it. Amazing and beautiful...
