Experience nature from its core by bathing in the geothermal baths at Krauma. The hot water originates in Europe’s most powerful hot spring Deildartunguhver, at a temperature of 100°C (212°F). To achieve the perfect bathing temperature we mix the hot water with cold water from Rauðsgil, which originates in the glacier Ok, the smallest glacier in Iceland. Krauma offers five relaxing natural geothermal baths, a cold tub to get your blood circulation going, two calming saunas and a relaxation room where you can rest by the fireplace while listening to soothing music.

We stopped for lunch here. In restrospect we should have made more time and enjoyed a spa here also because the facilities looked very nice. I know some reviewers have commented negatively about children but as a parent of a well behaved child (now teenager)...More

The Blue Lagoon and even the Myvatn Nature Baths are special, but they are such crowded places with a lot of big tour groups. This geothermal spa is nothing like that. It is really quiet, very relaxing and you have grand views of the Reykholtsdaulur...More

This place was great! We went to the Blue and Secret Lagoons and they were nice, but nothing topped this place. It's more remote, less touristy, and in a beautiful area. You have multiple options for temperature, from very hot to very cold, plus steam...More

So glad that I paid the $38 for this. Multiple pools at different temperatures, steam room, incredible relaxation room with a wood fire. Does not seem crowded, I would highly recommend.

I had already been there for the baths but it was my first time trying out the restaurant, and I can't insist enough on how perfect it was! The atmosphere is aligned with the rest of the place: refined and homy at the same time,...More

Well worth the price of admission . Various spas of different temps including very cold. Very clean shower area. They also have a very nice steam room and relaxation room. Much more romantic than the Blue Lagoon

It is not. About $30 USD for entrance, but it is totally worth it! The best hot spring in all of Iceland.
