716 reviews
A quick trip to Iceland doesn't mean missing the highlights, and this full-day tour of the South Coast explores glaciers, waterfalls, a volcano, and a puffin habitat. Travel in a Wi-Fi-equipped Mercedes Benz minibus, which allows you to upload photos to social media with ease. Stop at Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, find views of Sólheimajökull glacier and Eyjafjallajökull volcano, and then look for puffins on a black-sand beach. Your guide provides information crucial to understanding Iceland's eco-system throughout the tour.

Beautiful hike with some beautiful views. Definitely spot for some awesome pictures. Didn’t go swimming but the water was warm.

I went here with my husband, since it was oj the way back from our South Coast tour. We didn't have our suits with is, but wanted to see it. I'm glad we decided to do the small hike! The valley in which it's located in is beautiful! I enjoyed the walk there probably more than the actual destination. It's really cool to see this pool in the middle of nature. There were four people swimming in it and the water looks a little green, probably from the algae. Keep to the left and find the little path then just walk straight. There was also a little "bridge" to help you cross over the river if you happened to not be wearing waterproof shoes:)

Although the water is fine the tempature greatly depends on the weather around the rocks. So plan before exploring

Love Seljavallalaug. It's in such a special area. Were you wouldn't ever think a pool would be at. Therefore you can take some amazing pics there. Altough I didn't go in, cause there isn't any clorine in it = not very santitized/clean. It's a bit of a trail to get there. So you have to be able to walk a bit :)

It was great nad magical experience! Mountains and waterfalls around this pool are breathtaking. Water was colder than it suppose to be, so we came inside just for few minutes. Anyway that's one of the most beautiful places in Iceland that I've seen.
