When you go upstream from Skogafoss, this trail will amaze you. There are multiple waterfalls, creeks and a lot of hidden beauty. Absolutely recommended.

Hi Cams20, Trex, Sterna and Reykjavík Excursions operate buses from & to Þórsmörk in summer. You can book from a bus from Básar in Þórsmörk to Hvolsvöllur and catch the regular Strætó bus (nr. 51) to Skógar from there... More

Hello there. It'd be easier to park your car near Skógafoss, and then walk up the hiking trail. Just to get from Hvolsvöllur to the base of the trail is almost 50km. If you do want to leave your car at the town, then your... More
