Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This building rises just outside of the Harvard Yard. It is immense and an impressive architectural wonder located next to a nondescript science center. If you wonder what happens inside, check out the Queen’s Head Pub is a lively student watering hole and offers some great chicken wings.

This is a signature building at Havard is a beautiful brick High Victorian Gothic structure built shortly after the Civil War as a memorial to the 136 Harvard graduates who died fighting for the United States. The building houses a theater and a grand dining like you would see in Christ Church College in Oxford, the interior of which is beautiful when we snook a peak as students entered for dinner. The building is not on Havard Yard but rather just north of it. However, its exterior beauty will make it something you should see if you come to campus.

Unfortunately covid has the inside closed off to visitors but it's a beautiful building to see under any circumstances.

I have to agree partially with another reviewer: this is not a tourist attraction. It is an attraction for those with an appreciation of fine architecture of any era and style. The dining hall, which one may be able to view is worth the peek, but the real gem of this building is Sanders Theatre, which is open only during concerts and other events (but if you see an unlocked door... ;-} ). Again, the typical person may not enjoy seeing this interior space, but those with an appreciation of finer things will enjoy the time gazing at all the aspects of this hall.

It's a classic and remains the heart of the college, with both the largest dining hall and the largest lecture hall. If you can get into a concert in the lecture hall, then do. But otherwise not a tourist attraction.

Architecturally this substantial building is perhaps the finest campus building being built in memory of Harvard residents that fought in the Civil War. It is now used for concerts and other public functions.

The Memorial Hall is the most beautiful building in the Harvard campus. In memory of those who fought in the civil war, the grand structure north of Harvard Yard definitely worth visiting.

Built as a memory of the Harvard people that fought in the Civil War, it is now used as a concert hall and other events. At least this is what they told us when we tried to get in and visits were not allowed because rehearsals were going on. We briefly chatted with the students there. Once in, you can admire one of the beautiful stained windows. From the outside, the shape is that of a Gothic building.
