Lots of green space and masses of squirrels. This is a Harvard hangout with parking around the edge and a road right around it- it’s more of a park than common. Nice place to chill out if you’re visiting the University across the road.

Cambridge Common is a nice little park where you can sit on the benches if empty and people watch from a variety of reasons which is enjoyable.

Great quiet park near Harvard Square. History of the revolution is on every side of you. Several monuments including one marking where Washington assumed command of the Continental army it can be very relaxing, but not as good as nearby JFK park.

This attractive open space offers layers of history with revolutionary monuments, an imposing Civil War monument and various local plaques. Don't miss the extensive history of Cambridge displayed on the nearby "island" near the transit stop.

Nice casual eatery with a wide selection os American and European beers. The menu was very diverse and the service was super attentive without being overbearing. I would make every effort . to return here in any future trips to Cambridge!

This free space is just off to the side of Harvard University. It is well maintained by the city and is not crowded like the campus is. It seems to be a popular escape by some students as it is quiet.
