Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I came across mentions of this spot by chance and was really happy we decided to try it out.
The beach requires a bit of effort, you need to find a car park near the marina, walk for about 1 km along an access road closed to cars and then another 500m over the rocks to the dyke. But it is worth it !
The carved rocks have given a natural swimming pool that is quite deep but also calm so excellent for swimming and on top of that the rocks are teeming with sea life and are fantastic for snorkellers.
I wish I could have stayed longer.

We parked up on the side of the road (there is no designated car park) just before it becomes a rocky dirt road, there are not a lot of space for cars, so be prepared to turn around and find parking further down the road. You then walk along the rocky dirt track and can take either steep footpath down to the rocks. One of the footpath you access by going part way down the driveway of the house and turning left at the handmade signpost down the narrow footpath or going down the footpath just after the house. The footpaths are dry mud and lose little rocks, so easy to slip on, so wear sensible shoes to get here! When you get to the bottom and to the rock, it is quite sharp so I wouldn’t advise walking barefoot and can be slippery in places. So yes, it is a bit of a challenge (not suitable for children) and an effort to get to but that is part of its appeal! The rock formations is spectacular and the water is beautiful. I would advise wearing sea shoes and avoiding touching the seabed as it is a popular area for sea urchins and you do not want to accidentally step on these! It is a lovely place to swim, jump / dive off the rocks and relax in the sunshine and it is not over run with tourists because it is not super easy to access. If you keep walking to the far side you get to see a cave and more beautiful views.

The natural pools of "Cane Malu" I think they represent more than anything else, the sea of Sardinia, limpid and genuine, it is difficult to get there but with a bit of effort you can enjoy the show.

You won't have much shade and rocky terrain won't be friendly to your umbrella. Nevertheless for a late afternoon swim it's the ultimate swim. 20 feet of great water straight off the rocks.

I agree with other reviews that this isn’t a place for young children, too little shade, too deep water and lots of sea anemones with stings. For families with adventurous teens, perfect. Finding the path down is tricky, it drops down just before the last house that stands on its own and you think you are heading down their drive way but there is currently a homemade sign post to direct you. The path isn’t too difficult, but probably best not to try it in flip flops, and the rock is a course sedimentary rock that can take skim off if you slip. It truly does look like a Luna landscape once you get down to sea level but the sea pools really are worth it. It has a magic you won’t find on the beach.

After reading a previous review on how to get there we found our way...many thanks! We followed the narrow track down half way to be met by VERY steep rocky land unsuitable for our 3 and 9 year old to even attempt. So we just stood and admired the view from there. Very different indeed, something iv never seen before just wish we could have gotten onto it!

Firstly I wouldn't go here with tiny children as its quite steep in places with overhanging rock above the water. We weren't sure how to find it as lots of people had said it was hard to find but we checked it on Google maps. We drove along the marina road, parralel to the river on the side OPPOSITE the main road into Bosa. As we approached a few last houses the road petered out and forked so we parked on the road and walked up the rough track to the right. Passing the last few houses on our left we came across the lone house and just before the house there was a track going down quite steeply. At this point you can see the rock and sea below. You will need sensible shoes with some grip on the sole as the rock is quite steeply sloped in a few places. Once down there are a few rock pools and places to swim though it was quite choppy as we walked further around and we didn't feel comfortable with getting in although back to the first place it was very calm. Obviously there is nowhere to get water or refreshments and it was hot when we went so a bottle of water helped. When we went down and onto the rocks there were about six people at the first place then as we walked further we saw about ten people and a fisherman. It wasn't a difficult walk but I'd say
Don't do it I'd you have any mobility problems as it is obviously, rocky and uneven in places. With steep green tinged rocks and a crater like surface it was very different to anything else we'd seen. Glad we went.

This natural seawater pool is a delight. We visited on a hot Saturday and there were only a small number of people enjoying the very clear temperate waters. Very safe.
Make sure you have good footwear, The rock surrounding the pool is rough on bare feet.
Recommend snorkle/goggles to investigate the sealife.

Great, fun beach. Fun for jumping. A bit crowded on a Wednesday but we made it work. We ended up heading up to Cala e' Moro, which was WORTH IT. Farther walk / hike but secluded and gorgeous.

The whole area is covered in garbage and cigarettes butts and beer cans.
I know it is early in the season, but is indicative of what the locals feel and the Bosa government think about tourism. Very sad.
