We attended Holy Mass twice during our visit to Lowell. The stained glass windows are beautiful and each one tells a story. There are many statues of familiar saints along the sides of the church. There are niches on the side of the altar one with the Pieta and the other with an exceptional statue of Sr. Joseph the Worker.... More

Beautiful Church, nice gift shop. Still return here when I'm in Lowell to light a candle. It can be a nice place for some quiet reflection time.

This is a beautiful place. It is a traditional looking church, and provides a spiritual oasis in the midst of a busy city. The only downside for it is that it does not promote itself a lot, and it is located on a side street, off the main streets of the city. Because of both these factors, it may not... More

The Shrine is beautiful and really helps you in allowing you to pray and get closer to God. The priest that hear your penance are tremendous in that they listen and make it easy for you. The statues of all the saints, rosary and Mass are great as well.

One of the oldest Shrine in and around Lowell. Beautifully preserved and a wonderful gift shop with a wide selection of religious items

Enjoy just stopping by to meditate in silence. Calm and serenity reign when i enter the Shrine. I also recommend the masses and then of course, the gift shop carries a vast array of religious items, whether it be for First Communion, Confirmation, statuary , etc.

Not too many churches still have all the statues of saints and candles to light and say a prayer. There is also a gift shop downstairs where you can buy books, holy cards, medals, statues and more. Parking is on the surrounding city streets and you have to pay to park.

St. Josephs' Shrine is a quiet sanctuary in the middle of downtown Lowell. If you need some place to go to think or pray it is there for you. It is also a great place to go on "pilgrimage" because they have a number of saints' statues, holy candles and kneelers. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed frequently, groups assemble on... More
