Abbiamo visitato questo interessante sito domenica 16/06 nel corso di un tour archeologico in Sant’Antioco. L’ingresso è libero ma l’accesso è ubicato vicino alla pista ciclabile un tempo linea ferroviaria Carbonia-Sant’Antioco. Non c’è parcheggio per l’auto se non sporadiche piazzole prospicienti la laguna. Si tratta di due blocchi monolitici in roccia trachitica di tipo aniconico, datati neolitico medio, raffiguranti la divinità maschile (alta circa 3 metri) e femminile (2,5 metri) che la leggenda popolare ha voluto essere il prete e la suora tramutati in pietra per il loro impossibile amore. Oggi mi sono parsi due attenti guardiani sulla laguna e mi sembra doveroso avere segnalato qui su TripAdvisor la loro presenza onde favorire una visita a queste importanti testimonianze prenuragiche che condividono molte analogie con le granitiche perdas longas” di Guspini.
