Le Saline beach is a good alternative to the most popular and expensive beaches of La Pelosa and La Pelosetta. Parking is free, and close to the beach an old mill is available for you to discover!

Just the perfect view! Is from another world. Its a little rocky, but the scenery is wroth! The road to get there is also great. All the area is just wonderful, you drive on the road to get there and the landscape is great on both sides. You find it great to decide where to stop!

Tried La Saline about 45 minutes from Alghero north on way to La Pelosa. We did not like this beach. It was easy to find just off the highway and the parking was right beside it in a big lot and no fee. The water smelled and you walk through a large smelly area to get to the beach. Lots... More

Clear water, beach with white little pebbles, not crowded and perfect for families with children. There are some bars for having lunch and snacks. Easy accessibility and wide free parking area. Fantastic see view and suitable for swimming. You can have free beach as well as rent a beach umbrella.

We stopped here on the way to Stintino (and La Pelosa) there was ample parking space available for free. The beach was quiet busy, I assume due to high season (end of June) it's quite nice, not sandy but made up of tiny white pebbles. The water was a bit choppy and had quite a bit of seaweed drifting in... More

White small pebbles, sufficient parking places, swim-friendly sea. Might be too hot as there no trees to hide under. Can be quite crowded. You may not like the view of industrial zone near Pirto Torres to tge right (high chimneys sticking out). Otherwise pleasant experience.

I don't agree. Both have breathtakingly beautiful water. The landscape of Pelosa has more to offer, but Saline had a lot less visitors. It was a respite from the overrun Pelosa.
