$5.00 parking but that is forgiven with park pass. The building and exhibits were done nicely. The film in the third floor was very informative. Outside would be much better with more markers/signage to let people know what they are looking at.

Tredegar Ironworks was very interesting and we were eager to understand its role as an important industry from the south in the Civil War. I highly recommend watching the film. There isn't much to interest younger tourists. Not as much to see as I hoped...More

Well worth a visit for civil war buffs. Plenty of exhibits that can be seen up close with plenty of information and staff to ask. Important Iron works during the civil war involved in keeping the Confederacy supplied with armaments until the fall in 1865.

Fantastic NPS museum. The displays and the actual building really make history come alive. I especially liked the side by side displays depicting the war from a war history standpoint and the citizens of Richmond comparing/contrasting view.
