CenterStage is a renovated movie theaters. It was one of the Loew's Group of Theaters. Its architecture is very baroque. All of it has been restored from the 1920's. A starlet ceiling adds to the atmosphere. It is also not that large so it lends itself to a more intimate feeling. The seating is comfortable. The acoustics are super! Centerstage offers... More

What a wonderful and exciting experience. The seats were comfortable and spacious. The audio system there was amazing. I really enjoyed myself.

Worth a trip to see the inside and find a seat that fits your preferences. Leg room is tight and some seats don't offer the best view of the stage.

I went to the venue to see a Motown review but was disappointed to discover that the seat I thought I had purchased left me further away from the stage than it appeared...AND left me trapped in a seat I thought had free egress and access to.

Great shows and amazing sound! If visiting from out of town see what is playing-ballet, symphony, concerts, and much more!

This place is big, clean, and very nice.......The Dancing Dolls did the dag on thang last night (7/17/16). I think I had more fun than my two girls. I paid $10 for a pepsi and a bag of popcorn (that was too much....but hay it was an event)

Lots of great shows at an historic venue in Richmond. Beautifully restored, good view of the stage from most seats in the house. They now have parking available at the Commonwealth parking garage on event nights. Definitely take advantage.

This is a great place to see a show! I've been here three times the place is always clean and the staff is always friendly. They have adult beverages as well as snacks and drinks for people that do not drink alcohol. The architecture is amazing! The place is always clean.

I've been to CenterStage several times over the last few years. The times I have been it has always been for a private show for a private dance company of some sort. Once was for a ballet school recital and once was for a CenterStage cooperative show put on with dancers from multiple private and public elementary schools. The building... More

I attend about 6 performances per year. I enjoy the building architecture and its historical value very much. The Richmond CenterStage is located in the downtown area. Get there early enough to get parking on the street nearby. Parking across the street from the CenterStage is $10.
