Historically important as the site of Patrick Henry's; "Give me liberty or give me death speech" but the visit was made all the more special by the oratory skills of our period dressed guide. Absolutely amazing & obviously very dedicated to his role. He even...More

Felt really cool to experience this. This is where Patrick Henry gave his 'give me liberty or give me death' speech. I love history and this was a to-do for me while visiting Richmond. Rich in History. Beautiful church and cemetery.

The $8 is well worth the money. Out tour guide did a great job of explaining the circumstances of Vriginia’s second convention and the speech by Patrick Henry. Outstanding.

We were on a time constraint so we did not do a full tour but did stroll the grounds and talk with the period-dressed employees on duty. They were all overly helpful and friendly and the gift store was nice and reasonable priced.

Yes, there is parking on the streets all around the block. It's a cute area so there is plenty to do and walk and see other than the church! I really enjoyed the area.
