The daily cannon shooting event with the great views to the harbor is very interesting. I would recommend it to be visited(every day at 12pm and 16pm).

You are definitely referring to the Valletta Saluting Battery here. Have you actually visited Wignacourt Tower in St Paul's Bay. Come and find us during your next visit to Malta if you missed us this time round. Hope you had a pleasant holiday in Malta.

Very well laid out, historically very informative and well worth a visit. Only 2 euro, children go free.

You need good legs as it is quite a climb by spiral staircase to the top but worth it for the view when you get there

Well worth a visit only 2 euros and so full of interesting historical facts and a short film. Also amazing view from top.

Nice fort to call in especially the view from the top across the bay, Full of history Very glad they have restored these look out forts so that history is retained for the future.

Glad you enjoyed your visit to Wignacourt Tower. This tower has been under the guardianship of Din l-Art Helwa (National Trust of Malta) since 1972 and first restored in 1975. The last external wall restoration was done in 2015

There are several of these towers dotted along this part of the coastline The entrance cost is low €2 each .and it opens at 10am .there is seating around the bottom for a bit of sightseeing. Friendly staff.More

It's an easy walk but there are buses which go through St Paul's Bay from buggiba there are serval which stop at various points.

About 800 meters or 15 minutes of easy walking. From San Pawl Hotel take the shortest route to the promenade and then proceed on your left towards the waterpolo pitch. Wignacourt Tower is opposite the pitch. Have a nice... More
