Review of: Comino, Blue Lagoon and Caves. Tour A
My best day in Malta! The tour was amazing and the crew so nice and attentive to us. As I was alone, they took pictures and videos so that I could have memories. Add to that, we were only 30 people on board against maybe 80 on the others boats.

Review of: Comino, Blue Lagoon and Caves. Tour A
We bought 2 tickets for "sea horse tours" from agents by the beach close to the boat docks for €25 each. We had assurances from the two female agents that the boat is large enough and only allowed to book half the boat's capacity to observe social distancing regulations in Malta. We arrived the following day at 0930 and the first blip was actually finding the boat itself. It is not a good sign when you cannot find your boat. It turned out the unlike the numerous other boats around, it does not have the company's logo on it. Instead, a tiny wooden boat bears the logo. Perhaps a smaller boat by the same operator? After more than half an hour waiting in vain someone came to direct us to the boat where we had more unpleasant surprises. The pictures on the brochures are not only completely misleading dishonest and potentially dangerous. The boat is completely overfilled and is a virtual "sardine tin". Forget about the dishonest depictions on the brochures but it is an outright lie about reduced booking to comply with "Maltese Covid-19 safety regulations".…

We chose Seahorse Cruises' trip to Gozo and Comino due to the vessel being a wooden sailing vessel rather than a floating bar. I feel we got it right, but anybody lacking sea legs could have seen their lunch again or got soaked by the waves crashing over the boat. There was a bit of getting wet but amazingly nobody was sick despite double the forecast swell in the strait between the islands. We arrived in Gozo and had a whistle-stop tour of the main sights on the island which was an an excellent way to get to know it option. A most acceptable substitute. My only concern with this cruise was seeing a plaque in the wheelhouse stating she could carry nearly 100 passengers. On our cruise there were about 20. I could see 40 being comfortable, but 100 in the weather we encountered would be a cruise from Hell.…

We have selected Seahorse Cruises to Comino over others and did not regret. Here are a few reasons: - the ship itself is wooden and looks like an old traditional Maltese ship. It looked very different from all the ships around that were quite same, and that is why was atmospheric - the ship is not too large and overcrowded (absolute maximum they can take is 100 people) - it is a family business and they treat you like a family. When it was very crowded in Blue Lagoon, they let us stay on the Santa Maria beach in Comino for 1.5 hrs to enjoy full privacy on the beach - they let you jump to the sea from the boat! Must try, my favorite impression from the trip - they sell food at the ship at very reasonable prices, you can get some sandwich or wrap for EUR 3 - they have a transfer service and picked us up right from our apartment, and then brought back. Really comfy! No need to worry about a car.…
