It is located to the northeast of the Port, close to beach, and is easy to find by day or during the hours of darkness. By day, it appears as a magnificent Byzantine structure, basically white with gold surfaced upper domes, while the lower domes are bright blue. At the front are two bell towers, and these and the domes all are surmounted with golden crosses. By night the Church is floodlit. Internally, it is a building of immense beauty. Polished marble floors, and walls adorned with frescoes. This Eastern Orthodox Church was finished in 2016, and is free to enter. The Church is set in a well kept garden area surrounded by a low wall topped with an attractive wrought iron railing.

This church looked stunning, even in the rain. We were about to go round the city's ring road towards the old town (Stari Bar) and noticed this amazing edifice as we approached the roundabout from the Budva direction. Well worth stopping - and it's even more stunning inside. The highly decorated interior includes amazing frescoes and wall paintings throughout - DO NOT FAIL to go inside! Built within 10 years, from 2006 until 2016, this just shows the old skills are still there.

The interior of the church is absolutely breathtaking. You could easily spend an hour in there looking at all the individual paintings! There's also free entrance and you can take photos (just no flash) 😊 Definitely worth a visit if you're in Montenegro!

Definitely worth stopping by. It is very colourful inside. Make sure you cover yourself out of respect(shorts and t-shirt are fine).

Stunning church both inside and out. Free to enter and some great photos can be taken outside. Probably looks even better at night!
