Los Arqueros Golf is a mixed course situated less than an hour from the international airports of Málaga and Gibraltar, and only 10 minutes from MarbellaIt was the first golf course to be designed by Severiano Ballesteros. As the designer himself says, Los Arqueros is a good course for players of all kinds - a reasonable challenge for the average golfer and a tough test for professionals. It is set among the mountains of the Sierra de Ronda, and has an original layout in beautiful surroundings. Its prime location on the Costa del Sol makes this an ideal destination for a stress-free golfing holiday.

This place has a special place in our hearts as it's been a regular haunt for us for the past ten+ years. Lovely place to sit and watch the sun set (depending on what turn you get the pleasure of listening to in the evening), really handy to be able to walk and have a drink in the evening with... More

Fantastic course with great views let down by poor condition and slow play. Played in "peak season" at the begining of February so should have been in top notch nick. Greens very inconsistent (and pockmarked with unrepaired pitchmarks), some receptive others like concrete, which made it a bit of a lottery. Fairways very tight and firm but a bit scabby... More

I have previously given Los Arqueros an excellent rating. It is a challenging course designed by Seve Ballesteros and usually represents good value for money. Our most recent visit was most disappointing as the course, particularly the greens, was very wet due to over watering. Having plugged balls on so many greens and fairways is not an exciting way to... More

Stayed with friends at an apartment on site. Very nice, quiet and luxurious surroundings. Do need a car to get around. Close to tons of beaches and restaurants. Benahavis is closest town. Supermarkets nearby.

Having paid high prices (€151 for 2 players )for a course that was one of the worst kept courses I ve played in Spain I was bitterly dissapointed. The fairways were more like a farmers field and the front 9 holes greens were just shocking. Every drive we hit it nearly plugged in fairways and had to be moved, the... More

Los Arqueros is definitely not an easy course, but it's very challenging and will let you enjoy great views of the area while playing. This par 71 is regularly crowded with players from everywhere. Not to be surprised, as it offers one of the best price/quality ratio in Marbella. My advise would be to reserve your tee off at least... More

Los Arqueros is definitely one of my favorite golf courses because of its challenging terrain. Most fairways are very narrow, lined by trees with long drop offs. If you aren't on the fairways, you can forget that ball. Fortunately there are many vendors selling balls -- probably even one you previously owned -- so there's never a shortage. If I... More
