This is an interesting tower that gives great views of the town and surrounding countryside. Children might have difficulty seeing over the wall on the top, which is solid not a grate. This place was empty when we visited, and in great shape except for...More

It is a 15-minute walk from the highest parking spot in the village, but well worth it. The trail is a bit uneven, but nevertheless quite easy. The interior of the tower is not lit, so having a cellphone with a flashlight was quite helpful....More

Stunning views over the Grazalema reservoir and the village of Zahara de la Sierra. Nice spot to have a picknicklunch and end with a nice drink at one of the cafes down in the village!

We started our walk up to the castle in the mid afternoon. We passed less than ten people on our walk through the village of Zahara and then had the hilltop and the fortress to ourselves! The climb was easy though our three-year old spent...More

We saw this town on a daytrip from Seville to Ronda and decided we had to visit on our way home. This little town is really magic. The views from the town to the lake below are wowsome. The view from the top of the...More
