There was a heavy and persistent rain and our visit was limited to the movie, an inside tour, and a nod to the cattle. Staff were warm and friendly and most welcoming.

Should be seen by everyone touring the area. The movie (prior to the tour) is excellent as is the tour that is given by federal park rangers. The mansion is beautiful and give a great look into our history. Good for all ages. Highly recommended.

Great place for hiking, snowshoeing or X country skiing. Some trails were hard to follow in the snow, but others are groomed. South Peak is definitely worth the hike with an awesome view of the town of Woodstock. The only issue I found odd was...More
